Medication Assistance

While medication plays a significant role in helping to manage your pain level, maintain emotional wellbeing and enhance your quality of life, it is important that your medication is administered at the right time and in the correct dosage. With SheppCare Services we work with you to make sure you get the right medication on time, every time. Medication Support can often be provided as part of a care plan paid for by the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). Whether you are already using the NDIS to fund your support package or you would like to explore the options available, we can help.

If you have an ongoing need for medication, being sure you take it as prescribed is essential for your well-being.

We can arrange care specifically for this, at times to suit you and your scheduled medications. Or it can be built into another care services that you have arranged with us.

Support with medication means that tablets need never be forgotten or missed altogether. This is especially important where treatment may include several types of medication, not all of which will have the same frequencies or dosages. Some may be weekly, some daily and some more than once a day. Getting it right is important and our dedicated Registered Nurses (RN) and Enrolled Endorsed Nurses (EEN)  will be there to make sure everything is taken correctly.
